Klondike - Single player brain game

How to play:

Klondike is your classic solitaire card game gone digital. If you've ever played with real cards then you already know the rules. If not, then here goes:

Step One: Examine the seven neat columns of cards on the screen in front of you. Only face-up cards are in play!

Step Two: Stack if you can by means of the simple click-and-drag action of your trusty mouse. Cards may be piled one on top of another only if they follow a downwards numerical order and alternate black and red. What does this mean? Here's an example: A black Nine is placed on top of a red Ten and both may be transfered to rest atop a black Jack. When you transfer a face-up card, you make a face-down card available. Click on it and it will reveal itself to you!

Step Three: Any Aces you encounter must be placed in a row above the columns. Aces may be built upon only in the correct suit and in upwards numerical order. Here's an example: only the Two of Hearts may be placed on top of the Ace of Hearts. Only the Three of Hearts may follow the Two. When you have transfered all your cards from the columns and Deal pile into the Aces pile then you have won your game!

Step Four: When you're stuck, turn your attention to the face-down Deal pile in the top left-hand corner. Click on the Deal pile and it will make face-up cards available to you in threes. If the card is useful to you, click and drag it to where it is needed. If it is not, click on the face-down Deal pile again to get another deal. When you have run through the entire face-down Deal pile, click on the empty rectangle where it used to rest. The cards will reassemble, face-down, and you will be able to run through the Deal pile again.

Step Five: When you can do no more then you have lost and will have to play again.
